It’s exciting times at Amperity as we reach for new horizons! We’re constantly elevating our services and offerings to better meet the needs of our present and future customers, and expanding our international operations is a large part of our evolution.
Historically, we’ve been more focused on the US market, but we have to be ready to do business wherever our customers are. Roughly 10% of our current customers’ head offices are located outside of America, and with the continued growth of e-commerce, more consumer brands are widening their global presence and strategies. On top of that, the rise of remote work is allowing brands to grow more quickly into international markets, and increasing numbers of consumers are engaging across a variety of emerging channels that aren't restricted by physical or geographical barriers. With the capital we received from our Series D financing, now's the time to step on the gas.
Amperity will first put down new roots with commercial offices in Australia and the United Kingdom, followed by a data center in the Netherlands. These expansions complement our current presence in Eastern Europe.
By establishing a broader global presence, we’re giving customers and prospects further confidence in our commitment to support them today and tomorrow, no matter where they are doing business.
Personally, I’m excited to be leading the Amperity team on this journey, as it’s something I’ve done before in a different context. In the years I spent at Concur, Stripe, and other companies prior to joining Amperity, I headed up global teams across Asia, Europe, and North America as we built out the business. There’s nothing quite like seeing the energy and enthusiasm of a team reaching new audiences with great solutions.
As we look to the future, we are eagerly anticipating how this next chapter of growth and opportunity will have a positive impact on the businesses of our customers and the careers of our team members. Amperity has seen a huge amount of growth in the past few years, but we’re just getting started.
We want to express our gratitude to our community of customers, partners, and friends — without your continued support and collaboration, none of this would be possible.
