How Stitch Works

About this lesson

In this lesson, Jackson, a Training Program Manager, goes through the five steps of the Stitch process. These steps include labeling data using semantic tagging (i.e. addresses, emails, phone numbers, etc.), cleaning up data (i.e. expanding abbreviations), and combining all the data into one large dataset.

He then talks about the matching step that happens after the data is cleaned up. This step determines identities by deduping records using machine learning techniques. The final step in the Stitch process assigns an Amperity ID to these records. This ID ties these records together to create the Customer 360 database.
